Maximum Speed. One Perfect Lap.
Get ready for some of the fastest and most spectacular performance cars in UK motorsport as the Time Attack Championship takes to the track at Brands Hatch during Go Japan! on Bank Holiday Monday 30 August 2027.
From highly tuned Japanese performance cars to purpose-built competition machines, Time Attack brings incredible speed, engineering and driver skill to one of Britain’s most famous racing circuits.
Whether you’re a dedicated motorsport fan or watching for the first time, it’s an exciting part of the Go Japan! experience.
What is Time Attack?
Time Attack is motorsport with one simple objective: set the fastest lap.
Unlike traditional circuit racing, drivers aren’t competing to cross the finish line first. Instead, they’re racing against the clock, pushing themselves and their cars to achieve the quickest possible lap time.
Every fraction of a second counts. One perfect lap can make all the difference.
It’s easy to follow, exciting to watch and a fantastic showcase of what performance cars can achieve.
Incredible Cars, Serious Performance
Expect an impressive mix of tuned road cars and specialist competition machines, all built with speed in mind.
From legendary Japanese performance models such as the Nissan GT-R, Mitsubishi Evo, Subaru Impreza and Honda Civic Type R to highly developed race cars, the variety is part of the attraction.
Big power, advanced aerodynamics, impressive grip and incredible acceleration make these cars a spectacle both on and off the circuit.
Experience Time Attack at Brands Hatch
Brands Hatch is famous for its challenging corners, dramatic elevation changes and excellent spectator viewing.
Watch drivers tackle the legendary Paddock Hill Bend, brake hard for Druids and push their cars through the circuit’s demanding corners.
There’s plenty to enjoy away from the track too. Explore the paddock, get a closer look at the cars and meet the teams behind these remarkable machines.
You don’t need to understand the technical details to enjoy Time Attack. Just watch the cars, listen to the engines and see who can set the quickest lap.
