Car clubs are a major part of Go Japan! at Brands Hatch, bringing together Japanese car enthusiasts from across the UK.
From iconic Japanese performance cars and rare imports to everyday classics and carefully tuned road cars, the club displays offer something for everyone.
Whether you’re visiting for the first time, returning with your club or thinking about displaying your own Japanese car, we’d love you to be involved.
You don’t need to be a car expert to enjoy the displays. Take your time, explore the different stands and chat with the owners about their cars.
What can visitors expect from the car club displays?
Our car club area brings together a wide range of Japanese vehicles, styles and communities.
You’ll find everything from original examples and modern performance cars to highly personalised builds. Each club has its own identity, making the displays an interesting part of the event.
Look out for:
- Japanese performance cars from manufacturers such as Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Subaru.
- Rare Japanese imports and JDM models you might not normally see on UK roads.
- Classic Japanese cars alongside more modern models.
- Tuned, restored and individually styled vehicles.
- Car clubs dedicated to a particular manufacturer, model or the wider Japanese car scene.
Many owners are happy to talk about their cars, share their experiences and explain the work that has gone into them.
It’s also a great opportunity to discover a car club you might like to join.

There are several ways to get involved, whether you’re a club organiser, an existing member or an individual owner.
1. Register your car club
If you organise a Japanese car club and would like a dedicated display stand at Go Japan!, you can register through our online Club of Clubs booking system.
New clubs are welcome, alongside those that have supported the event in previous years.
How to register your club:
- Visit the Club of Clubs registration website.
- Register or log in as your club’s coordinator.
- Select Go Japan! and complete the club registration.
- Receive your unique club booking code.
- Share the code with your members so they can book their places.
- Log in to monitor your club’s registrations.
The booking system automatically calculates the space required based on the number of confirmed vehicles.
Please encourage your members to book before the published deadline so we can plan the display areas and allocate suitable space.

2. Already a member of a registered car club?
If your club is attending Go Japan!, booking your place is straightforward.
Your club coordinator will provide a unique booking code. You’ll need this to join your club’s display.
How to book your place:
- Purchase your advance event entry ticket.
- Ask your club coordinator for the club booking code.
- Visit Club of Clubs and log in or register.
- Select your club and enter the required details, including your ticket reference.
- Complete your display registration.
Your vehicle pass and arrival instructions will be emailed before the event.

3. Not a member of a car club?
You can still display your Japanese car at Go Japan!
Our Individual Display area is designed for owners who would like to bring their car but aren’t attending with a registered club.
You don’t need to organise a stand or join a club. Simply follow the individual display booking process.
It’s an opportunity to park alongside other Japanese car enthusiasts, meet fellow owners and become part of the show.

Important information: Japanese vehicles only
Go Japan! is a celebration of Japanese cars and culture. To maintain the identity of the event, our car club stands and individual display areas are reserved for vehicles from Japanese manufacturers.
We appreciate that many clubs have a varied membership and may also attend other events with different types of vehicles. However, only eligible Japanese vehicles should be registered for display at Go Japan!
We make every reasonable effort to check bookings and manage the display areas. With a large number of vehicles attending, we also rely on the cooperation of club coordinators and individual owners.
We kindly ask club organisers to communicate this requirement to their members and check vehicle eligibility before confirming bookings.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a member of a car club to display my car?
No. If you own an eligible Japanese car but aren’t part of a club, you can apply to display in our Individual Display area.
Can I register a new car club?
Yes. New Japanese car clubs are welcome to register through Club of Clubs. You’ll need a club coordinator to manage the booking and share the registration code with members.
I’ve attended before. Do I need to register again?
Yes. Clubs and members should check their registration for each event and ensure their booking details are current. Previous attendance does not automatically confirm a place at the next show.
Do I need to buy an entry ticket?
Yes. All drivers and passengers require a valid event entry ticket. Display registration alone does not provide admission.
How do I join my club’s display?
Ask your club coordinator for the unique booking code. You’ll then be able to register your vehicle through Club of Clubs using your ticket details.
Can I bring a non-Japanese car onto a club stand?
No. Go Japan! car club stands and individual display areas are reserved for vehicles from Japanese manufacturers.
We ask club coordinators to check that their members’ vehicles meet this requirement before booking.
Does my Japanese car need to be modified?
No. Standard, restored, classic and tuned Japanese cars are all welcome, subject to the event’s display requirements.
How many cars do we need for a club stand?
A minimum number of confirmed vehicles is required for a dedicated club stand. The requirement for the next event will be confirmed in the booking information.
If your club doesn’t reach the required number, we may offer eligible members places in the Individual Display area instead.
Can I choose where my club stand will be located?
Stand locations are allocated by the organisers based on confirmed vehicle numbers, available space and operational requirements.
We cannot guarantee a particular location, but we aim to keep registered club members together wherever practical.
When will I receive my vehicle pass and arrival instructions?
Vehicle passes and arrival information are normally emailed shortly before the event.
Please ensure your email address is correct and check your junk folder if you haven’t received your information.
Can passengers travel in my display car?
Yes, subject to the event’s entry and vehicle access arrangements. Every passenger must have a valid event admission ticket.
Can visitors walk around the club displays?
Yes. The club displays are part of the event and can be enjoyed by visitors with a valid admission ticket.
You don’t need to own a Japanese car or belong to a club to explore the displays.
