A Celebration of Rare JDM Classics in the UK
Get ready for an exceptional gathering of some of Japan’s most iconic and elusive automobiles, right here in the UK. This year’s special showcase will feature an eclectic mix of rare, low-mileage, and often completely original JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) classics, cars that are seldom seen outside Japan, let alone on British roads.
Star of the Show: 1966 Nissan Silvia CSP311
At the heart of the display will be the 1966 Nissan Silvia CSP311, an exquisite and highly collectible coupe that represents the dawn of Nissan’s sports car heritage. Hand-built and limited to just 554 examples worldwide, the CSP311 was a pioneering design, a perfect blend of Japanese engineering and European-inspired styling, thanks to the work of German designer Albrecht Goertz. With its sharp lines, elegant proportions, and precise craftsmanship, it remains a symbol of 1960s automotive elegance.
A Display of Diversity and Preservation
This year’s showcase – curated with the help of our good friends at JDM Classics – brings together a wide-ranging selection of vehicles that span decades of Japanese innovation. From retro hatchbacks to early turbocharged legends, expect to see:
- Unrestored survivors with original paint and trim
- Low-mileage gems still bearing their first registration
- Obscure and underappreciated models that tell fascinating stories of Japan’s domestic car culture
Each car represents a personal story of preservation and passion, often owned by collectors who have gone to extraordinary lengths to maintain their originality.
