The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC)
The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC) is a passionate community dedicated to preserving, restoring, and celebrating the rich history of Japanese motorcycles. Founded in 1982, the VJMC has grown into one of the largest and most respected vintage motorcycle clubs in the world, welcoming enthusiasts of all ages who share a love for the iconic machines produced by Japan’s legendary manufacturers.
Whether it’s the unmistakable rumble of a classic Honda CB750, the sleek lines of a Yamaha RD350, the engineering brilliance of a Kawasaki Z1, or the timeless charm of a Suzuki GT, the VJMC brings together owners, restorers, and admirers of these incredible bikes.
With local branches across the UK and internationally, the club regularly organises events, ride-outs, shows, and meet-ups, offering members the chance to share their bikes, swap knowledge, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. From pristine showroom-condition machines to lovingly restored classics, the club celebrates all stages of the vintage journey.
New for 2025, we are delighted to welcome the Kent Section of the VJMC, who will be bringing a fantastic display of bikes to GO JAPAN!. This is a brilliant opportunity to talk to the owners, learn about the history and stories behind these rare and fascinating motorcycles, and see them up close.
GO JAPAN! is the ultimate celebration of everything Japanese, from cars, bikes, and motorsport to food, culture, and entertainment. Whether you’re a dedicated motorcycle enthusiast or simply love Japanese engineering and design, the VJMC display is not to be missed.
Be sure to stop by, meet the team, and immerse yourself in a true celebration of two-wheeled history only at GO JAPAN!
